Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum - A light hearted family entertainer


After the hits Ayalum Njanum Tammil and Immanuel, Lal Jose is back with another enjoyable flick Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum. The expectations on a Lal Jose movie made me to watch this flick for first day first show. Lal Jose didn't disappointed me.


Synopsis : The story takes place at Kuttanad. The hero Chakkattutharayil Gopan (Chakka Gopan) owns a house boat which he bought through a bank loan. He has 3 elder brothers. Their main job is Rowdism in their village. But the aftereffects of their rowdism was faced by Gopan. All the three elder brothers wont go for any other work. The whole family of Gopan depends on his income getting from his houseboat. Gopan appoints a girl Kainakiri Jayasree who is basically a dancer, to entertain foreigners who are coming to his houseboat, with her classical dance performance. Gopan and Jayasree eventually fall in love with each other. The incidents that happens in their life after this is the rest of the movie.


In the making side, Lal Jose shot the entire movie in an entertaining way without any kind of lag or boring scenes. The Cinematography by S.Kumar was nice and he captured entire scenic beauty of Kuttanad. In the scripting side, Sindhuraj didn't disappointed this time. His script was an engaging one with many situational comedies in it. Perfect casting was done by the director. All songs in this movie are good and are already in the hitchart. Bgm was also one of the positives of this movie. Dont expect a big climax or twist from this movie.


In the acting side, Chackochan handled the role of Chakka Gopan with ease. His looks and mannerisms were good. Namitha Pramod handled the role of Jayasree neatly. Probably, she might get more good roles after this movie. Suraj Venjaaramoodu got an appreciable role after a long time. His comedies were good. The negative role was handled by Shammi Tilakan. The elder brothers characters were played by Irshad, Shiju, and Joju. They had done superb performance in this movie. The other cast includes Anusree, Bindhu Paniker, Harisree ashokan, KPAC Lalitha etc.


On the whole, Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttiyum is a perfect family entertainer with good humours. Recommended to all families. Undoubtedly, this flick will be one of the sure superhit of this year. Go and watch this aattinkutty & pullipulikal from your nearby Cinemas.
