Watched NPKCB with great expectations, after reading so many positive reviews in FK and in other websites. But I didn't felt that its such a great movie, may be because of over expections. Of course it is a well taken movie and has good prodcution values. But it lacks a tight script, which can keep the viewer engaged in the movie. The director gives more importance in capturing the scenic beauty of the places and the bike ride. Of course I like bike rides and used to go for short trips from Bangalore. But its great fun to ride the bike than see someone else riding. May be its my problem..:)


Most of the episodes in the movie are much lengthier than its actually required and at times it tests the patience of the audience. Especially the Puri episode which is elaborated to unwanted extends. The college scenes were good and were well taken. The movie gathers some pace only during those scenes. But for rest of the times, the movie runs in a slow pace. The climax is also a bit of a let down.


The performances from all the actors in this movie is top class. A special mension needs to be given to Joy Mathew who again shows us that he is a great actor. Also the effort taken by the crew to shoot the movie in such different and difficult locations, should be appreciated.


I don't believe that a movie needs to be slow and with less entertaintment values, to be cosidered as a 'Class' one. This one doesn't possess the quality that we saw in Ustad Hotel, Shutter, Ayalum Njanum Thammil etc or similar hindi movies like Zindagi naa milegi Dubaara. Had this been a book, then it would have been a great one to read. As a movie, its just an Ok one. Thats it...
