"As we look at the roles did ..we can see Mammootty played so many different characters.....
and also we can easily get the character's names....as ....Chanthu,Sethuramayyar,baskarapatel,rajamanikya m,madhavan,balram,tharadas,Dani,Putturumees,Kuncha kkaa,krishnan,..etc.... Its because of his versatile acting power..

But mohanlal's characters are only remeber because of his acting style.....there is no value for the character name in Naran,aramthamburan,Thandavam,,chandrolsavam,Praja ,shraddha,Bharatham,Vanaprastham,..etc.....What I'm saying is Mohanlal performances are great but as we find out the popularity of charcters ....only few of them get the power"

If for mam this post may become a self goal. Charecters are better than actor. means Those charectors are great because of the writer and director. Not because of mam. ANd lal's charectors are great becuase lal acted in it. I am not arguing this is the case. This is what I read from your post."
