Aguero missed a couple of sure-shot chances and finally slotted a clinical one in by half-time to make it 2-1. the third goal was a penalty by Aguero, which resulted on a foul on Zabaletta, who had definitely put up an act. If the foul on Zabaletta deemed a penalty, then the foul by Nastasic on Lukaku should have been given a penalty too. Seems like, for a couple of instances, the refs were favoring City. Kolarov and Zabaletta shed blood for the battle. Kompany was taken off injured. The ref had a tough time and pulled around 20 yellows. Silva played a beautiful game, dedicated and cunning as always. So, that is another home win. The remaining of the month for City is is four 'away' matches, against West Ham in EPL, against CSKA Moscow in CL, against Chelsea in EPL and against Newcastle for League Cup. card-palaces on the way!!!
Lescott is a liability to your City team

That's where the consistency of PL referees comes into questioning. Silva's couple of fouls went unnoticed and should have got a yellow much earlier in the game.

    Overall a good game. Congratulations!

Yes. Martin Jol would be a relieved person tonight along with Alan Pardew.

The board wanted to make some good connection with the fans and as they sing Dalglish's name every time at Anfield, they thought it would be good to appoint him.
