[SIZE=3]Director Vysakh who is well known for making commerical entertainers, is back with his 5th directorial venture 'Vishudhan'. This movie is different from his previous flicks. The tagline of the movie itself is 'Feel the difference'. But I think viewers won't accept this difference. Synopsis : Sunny, a priest of a church is the main protagonist. He had to protect a nun Sophi at a particular point of his life. Their love and life after this incident is the rest of the movie. In the making side, Director Vysakh provides a variety treatment for this movie when compared to Vysakh's recent movies. His direction was good. But the subject of this movie won't be entertaining for most of the viewers. It maintains a serious mood throughout. Cinematography handled by Shehnad Jalal was impressive. Songs and Bgm was nice. The song 'Oru mezhuthiriyude nerukayil' is already there in hit chart. In the performance side, Kunchacko Boban dons the role of priest Sunny. He handled his role neatly. The role suits him very much. Mia George is the female lead of this movie who handled the role of nun Sophie. She got a good role and her acting was natural. She has improved a lot in the acting side when compared to her performance in her debut movie 'Chaetayees'. Shalin also provides a decent performance. Rest of the cast which includes Lal, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Krishnakumar, Nandhu etc did their parts well. Overall, Vishudhan ended up as an above average movie. Those who want to see a different treatment from Vysakh and the fans of Chackohan can go and see this movie. The film won't be enjoyable for those who love only commercial flicks. Now the choice is yours.
