Indrajith, who is currently basking in the success of his movies Left Right Left and Kaanchi, is all set to make his screen presence once again. Debutanat Vishakh GS is all set to make his film with Indrajith playing the lead in Masala Republic. Sunny Wayne, P Balachandran, Vinayakan, Mala Aravindan, Mammookkoya, Captain Raju, Shine Tom Chacko, Vinay Forrt, Soubin and many others are also seen in supporting roles. The female lead is yet to be finalised.

Director Visakh was the assistant director to Rajeev Ravi in the film Annayum Rasoolum, which starred Fahad Fazil and Andrea Jeremiah. The screenplay of Masala Republic is done by Arun K George. Jassie Gift has composed music for this movie. T Sukumar is producing this movie under the banner of Chemmeen Cinemas. Suresh Rajan has wielded the camera for this movie. Meanwhile, Sunny Wayne, who plays a pivotal role in Masala Republic, will be seen in the lead role in the upcoming movie Starring Pournami, which is basically a road movie. Rima Kallingal is said to play the female lead in this movie. This is the first time both are sharing the screen together. Rima, who got married recently, also has another movie titled Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal in the progress. Dileep plays opposite her in this movie, which is expected to get released in December.

കോമഡിയുടെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു ആക്ഷേപഹാസ്യ ചിത്രമായിരിക്കും മസാല റിപ്പബ്ലിക് എന്നാണ് വാര്*ത്ത.ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തിനു പുറമേ ശ്രിത ശിവദാസ്, ശ്രിന്ദ, ബാലചന്ദ്രന്* ചുള്ളിക്കാട്, വിനയ് ഫോർട്ട്,​ ക്യാപ്ടന്* രാജു, മാമുക്കോയ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് മറ്റു കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ.
