    _________
    Sketchy in parts,but impactful!
    Vishudhan is a dark,emotional drama with many archetypal sub-plots.With Vishudhan director Vysakh has attempted to present a serious theme for the first time. Yes,he succeeds to an extent,but the writer inside him fails to pack a punch.The slow narration,cliched dialogues and stereotypical backdrop keep the movie away from attaining perfection.Leaving aside some flaws,its appreciable that Vysakh could present a controversial issue without hurting any religious sentiments.The movie has an instinctive severity which makes it close to the viewers.Kunchako Boban was really impressive in his role,whereas Hareesh Peradi disappoints after a brilliant performance in Left Right Left.Overall,Vishudhan is not a must watch ,but worth watching for a brilliant performance by Chackochan and the honesty in approaching the subject.

    Performances::
    ___________
    *Kunchako Boban portrayed his role brilliantly.Expecting more of such challenging roles from his side.
    *Miya did her part well and was impressive.
    *Hareesh Peradi was disappointing and felt struggling.Expected much better performance from him.
    *Among others,Lal & Nandhu could shine in their respective roles.
    *Suraj Venjarammoodu was wasted and comes in 2-3 scenes.Maybe his scenes got cut while trimming the movie.

    Some +Ves::
    _________
    *Kunchako Boban.
    *Cinematography By Shehnad Jalal.
    *Presentation Of Social Issues.

    Some -Ves ::
    _________
    *Cliched Dialogues & Situations.
    *Slow Narration.

    Verdict::Vishudhan is no way a perfect film.There are ample number of flaws to point out inside the screenplay,but in a whole makes an impact because of a depthful performance by Kunchako Boban coupled with the social relevance and intensity of the issues presented.Worth Watching!
