Silent,It Is !
The Power Of Silence had the potential to become a really good suspense thriller,given the suspense element had been handled accordingly and care had been taken while scripting to clear out the pitfalls in the script which hamper a smooth cinematic experience.The movie starts a bit slow,slow,but manages to keep the audience engaged till the interval.Leaving out some lag in between there aren't much negatives to point out in the first half.But the post interval portion which centralizes on revealing the suspense is devoid of thrills and suffer from a flawed screenplay which arises many questions in the minds of viewers,few which are left unanswered.Primarily,Silence struggles to create the punch and energy that is required for a thriller and turns slow to roll in between particularly to the second half.The movie has been partially inspired from the Martin Scorsese's movie Cape Fear starring Robert De Neiro[I repeat,Partiallly!].Adv Aravind Chandrashekhar is a really alluring portrayal from the Megastar,but the movie turns out to be pretty average stuff.Overall,Silence is a watchable flick,which could have been presented much more spirited and pleasing for the viewers.

*Thrilling BGM,but was not used properly.

*Screenplay by Y.V.Rajesh lacks the pace and energy that we usually associate with a suspense thriller.
*Film lacks clarity & many questions are left unanswered.
*Direction was below average,particularly the post-interval part.
*Suspense element was not properly handled.
*Absence of a strong villain.


Verdict::To be frank,I expected much more from the V.K.Prakash-Mammookka combo.Still,Silence is not a bad movie,but fails to present the suspense with required grip & energy to classify near the league of suspense thrillers like Mumbai Police,Kariyila Kattu Pole,Yavanika & the CBI Series.Last word,Watchable !
