Simple Feelgood Movie!
Punyalan Agarbathis is yet another simple social satire from Renjith Sankar.The storyline is uncomplicated [at times predictable] and there are numerous moments which are sure to make one laugh.Casting is a major highlight of the movie and all did their job well,with special mention to Jayasurya & Sreejith Ravi who did their roles excellently.The second half isnt smooth as the first and couldnt keep up the pace created by the first half.But still,there were some genuine moments in the second half and the movie ended with an acceptable climax.Watching the second half,I felt some more care while scrpting could have made this a better movie alltogether.Direction by Renjith Sankar was ok,but I feel he is getting typecast & felt this as an appendage to his previous sarcastic flick 'Molly Aunty Rocks'.Expecting a movie of different genre from him the next outing.Overall,Punyalan Agarbathis is a simple paisa vasool flick with a social message & some hearty performances.

*Jayasurya did a really impressive job portraying the role of 'Joy Thakkolkkaran' with perfect expressions & Thrissur slang dialogues.
*Sreejith Ravi is the pick among the cast & did his role brilliantly.His role will be certainly remembered as one of his career best performances.
*Nyla Usha did her part well.
*Aju Vergheese,T.G.Ravi & Innocent were good.
*Rest of the cast including Idavela Babu,Rachana Narayanankutty etc were ok.

Verdict::Punyalan Agarbathis is an airy,light-hearted movie with some good performances.The second half is a bit slow to roll & has some flaws,but overall the movie has enough & more moments to classify it as a decent entertainer.Not a must watch,but worth the money.
