Drisyam. What's this? Is it a movie?

I always prefer some difference to my reviews. Hence the title.
Saw this from ERN Cinemax 9.30 AM 22.12.13. Full house. Silent crowd. At the end huge claps like Memories.
This guy is something special. He knows the caliber of each actor.
He is really genius. A power house of ideas.
I thought Memories was just an idea which even I discussed with ex DGP Kerala Police who is working with us now. He said he has seen such extra intelligence of police officers in his career of 38 years.
Here he repeats this marvellous act with an ordinary man who sees movie after movie right throughout the day picking up ideas, which he uses for his survival.
Extraordinary ideas from this man.
As against my expectations after reading the reviews I thought the first half was boring.
But to my surprise it was too good for me as well. The love, care, affection and sexual thoughts are that of a man of that age which clearly depicts here and later which leads to the build up.
The length was never a problem though few mentioned otherwise. It was really fantastic and never got bored.
Acting
I was not supporting Lal since long since he tried to over look his aged look and going after roles that not suiting him.
Here after a long long time he really showed us what a great actor is he. The emotions the love the fear the determination everything were written on his face.
Extremely perfect casting. MAM would have been a miscast here.
Meena. I always developed a cold feet againt this lady.
When I came to know the casting I felt Jithu got a real problem here. But it proved the perfect casting.
The children are good especially the younger one.
Shajon was a revelation.
Asha was also good.

The biggest one.
Jithu Jithu nothing else. He is a extraordinary directot cum writer.
He will change the face of movie culture here which leaning towards crass brainless comedy. The thriller culture starting its journey towards the minds of the masses which is a positive sign. Rating
