Honestly ,From Its trailor .I have expected another usual Vijay stuff.
i had stopped watching his movies unless frends offer me tickets .
here Lalettan Factor Dragged me to theater.
The umpteen times told story and twists(especially In tamil and some sibi uadyan kinda mal movies also) stretched to around three hours is big bore but does not breaks the watchable Level.
But i would say i never feel like that 'Singam2' which pravoked me to get out from theater before its get Finished.
Here nesan failes to impress , it has that all cliched thamil flimsy masala. But he could not manage the pace up to saving people from yawning often.
Especialy in second half, its ease to predict the next scene and even the next dialogue but its taken in a dragged way.
As a debutent its forgivable if he could have shorten It to an extend ,
hmm I dont care about anything, as long as this is a Vijay starrerthamil flick,
I never wished for any surprises.
Neverthless THE ONE AND ONLY LALETTAN MADE ME THIS MOVIE AS WATCHABLE,
HIS IMMENSE SCREEEN PRESENCE IS TERRIFIC!
EVEN WITH SINGLE GLANCES HE STELALS THE SHOW WHEN HE IS IN SCREEN ,VIJAY SEEMS NOTHING INFRONT OF LALETTAN.
THERE IS A SCENE WERE LALETTAN SITTING IN ROAD SIDE ,HIS EYES ARE WET,HE DELIVERD NOTHING VERBALY, BUT ITS CONVEYED !! ,ITS SHEER BRILLIANCE OF A GREATEST ACTOR!! MAINLY NESAN TRIED FOR A MASSIVE PURE RUDE MANNERISMS OF LALETTAN , LALETTAN DID ,EVEN NESAN COMES UP WITH A WEAK SCRIPTED SCENE LALETTAN MAKES IT AS A TREAT. SOME SCENES MISSING TO PROVIDE ENOUGH PUCNH WORTH TO HIS PERFO LEVEL, LALETTAN SHOWED AMAZING TAMIL DIALOGUE DELIVERY SKILLS , I HAVE SCARED ABOUT IT,BECOZ HIS COOLLY -SIMPLE APTITUDE MAY NOT SUITS FOR A TAMIL MASS ROLE,WHICH ASKS FOR ROAR AND SHOUT ,OFCOURSE LALETTAN DID ,ITS TURNED OUT TO BE EXCELLENT.
THE FEW DANCE STEPS IN INTRO SONG BY LALETTAN - ROCKED!!
HE HAS LIMITED SCREEN PRESENCE BUT NESAN TREAT HIM WITH ALL RESPECT.IT SEEEMED LIKE HE SAVED THE MOVIE FROM BEING A DULL AFFAIR.
vijay with his usual Stuff,sometimes Over the top.
The chemistry Between Lalettan sounds Refreshing and enjoyable to everyone.
