Atlast got to watch the heavily delayed mission which was in the news for all those unwanted reasons before the release,& I must say its a total waste of time & money.Its really pathetic to see such a half-baked attempt from an experienced hand like Joshiy who have produced so many thrilling movies that we cherish even now.Salaam Kashmir can boast of the childs-play approach by almost all the departments alike & never tries to become serious in presenting the plot.The first half reminds of all those tv soaps with Jayaram comfortably helming the role of a ''Veetachan'' as described in the movie-Passable if u r ready for some done to death family drama.But wait a minute!Hes not the simple guy we expect him to be[Watchout the movie for more details! ].The second half has the viewers pulled into a series of misplaced events coming one after the other with practically no logic & realism.Rather its totally wacky & within no time one will lose interest in the proceedings & will look up for the exit door.Jayaram too seemed a misfit for the character & seemed struggling in many scenes.Doubtful sub-plots are aplenty like the actual reason for the hatred between Suresh Gopi & Jayaram,thanks to a wafer-thin plot & a worse screenplay for the support.Overall,its a tedious task to sit through the length of the movie .

Verdict::Salaam Kashmir fails to make any mark & falls much below the expectation.Easily one among the worst works by Joshiy till date[Lokpal still holds the first position though].A big sigh for all those absurdities that the viewers are made to witness.Pathetic attempt!
