After taking a long vacation from forumkeralam, I am back. I don't know how many of you still remember me Anyways, Let me start again with my reviews

Konthayum Poonoolum : A disastrous flick.

After Kadhaveedu, Chackochan-Bhama combo is back with Konthayum Poonoolum. Movie is directed by Jijo Antony and produced by Riyson Vellara. Trailer of Konthayum Poonoolum got heavy positive response from the viewers. But this movie landed up as a disastrous flick to the viewers in every angle.

Synopsis : Actually, there is no story as such. There are some few main characters in this film. The unnatural events that happens in their life is all about the movie.

In the technical side, movie is directed by Jijo Antony. The treatment given by him on this movie itself was annoying for the viewers. And then coming to the scripting side, story is done by Vinod Sreekumar and script is handled by Amal & Jijo Antony. This movie lacks a basic storyline. Simply showing some random scenes and creating a kind of horror mood for those cannot be called as a movie. The unnecessary repetition of scenes was also disturbing. I am not at all against to that kind of treatment. But when a scene is shown repeating, that should create some kind of feel or a thrill to the viewers. But in this case, it created only headache for the viewers. DOP work was also not impressive. The one and only positive I felt was the music part. The BGM and music is done by Mejo Joseph. It was the only relief factor in the technical side. There is one good melodious track.

In the performance side, first of all let me clear one thing. This movie cannot be called as a Kunjacko Boban movie. Because there is not much role for him. Almost every one has equal importance. Chackochan didn't had anything to perform in this movie. The female lead role was done by Bhaama. She just played her small role safely. The remaining lead roles were played by Kalabhavan Mani, Manoj K Jayan, Saiju Kurup, Shine Tom Chacko, and Joy Mathew. Among these, everyone failed to create an impression.

Overall, Konthayum Poonoolum ended up as a disastrous movie. Those who want to test their patience can go and see this flick. Otherwise, please don't even think of watching this movie.

Almost half of the crowd left the theater before the movie was finished. The makers of this movie should arrange some kind of award for those who watch this movie completely from Cinemas. I am one among them.
