To start with '1 By Two' is assuredly not everyone's cup of tea,but nonetheless a decent psychological thriller,a good addition to this not so exploited genre in Mollywood.The 150 minutes long movie has its share of loopholes,but provides some moments of sheer brilliance in between,which itself makes up for the ticket price.A flawless performance by Murali Gopy deserves special mention-The way he portrayed the characters invested on him with such perfection is a golden example of his meticulous talent like his gifted father.Undoubtedly,its one among the best performance by an actor in mollywood in recent times.Fahad Fazil doesn't have much to perform & even looks the odd one in some sequences,but pulls out a good performance-The role given to him could have been easily pulled off by any newcomer.BGM by Gopi Sunder is refreshing & experimental,Thumbs Up for him!.Screenplay by Jeyamohan is not pefect & has notable missteps because of its complexity,a good try which required some touch up for perfection.Direction By Arun Kumar Aravind was good & he succeeded in ruling out the limitations of the screenplay to an extent making this an enjoyable outing.On the whole,1 By Two can be classified as a decent thriller worth the money we pay for.

*Fahadh Fasil's character was half-baked & he had nothing much to perform,but did his part well.
*Honey Rose was good.
*Shyamaprasad was a surprise package & gave an impressive perfromance worth a mention.
*Azhagam Perumal was passable,but looked struggling & artificial in some emotional scenes.
*Ashwin Mathew & Shruthi Ramakrishnan,Abhinaya were OK in their roles.

Verdict::1 by Two has its share of loopholes & is not a foolproof psychological thriller,but on the whole provides a satisfactory movie experience.A stellar performance by Murali Gopy itself makes it a decent,paisa-vasool movie worth a try.If you are looking for pure entertainment,think twice before buying the tickets,Else give it a try!!Hope the movie will get better recogonition & response in the years to come!
