Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal: A good visual entertainer.

Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal is directed by Ajith Pillai with Asif Ali & Sunny Wayne in the lead roles. Movie is produced by Niyas Ismail under the banner of Frames Inevitable. I enjoyed this journey with Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal.

Synopsis: Alex is a jobless guy from a rich family. He is just interested to spend his time and money for parties, boozing with friends etc. But, due to one reason, he was jailed. Alex finds it difficult to survive inside the Jail. So, wants to escape from that Jail. Even though his one or two attempts got failed, he succeeded in his next attempt. During his escape from the Jail, he meets Akber Ali who is also a jail breaker. They both started their journey together. Their journey ends at Lakshadweep Island. The reason behind their journey forms the rest of the movie.

The power house of this film is its technical crew. Direction by Ajith Pillai was totally refreshing. The variety in his treatment makes this movie appealing. Scripting is handled by Ajith Pillai and Vipin Radhakrishnan. The narration by Asif Ali's character in the beginning of the movie was a variety one and really hilarious. The way they handled the script created a fresh feel for the viewers. The Cinematography and Bgm are the main highlights in the technical side. Cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam is a visual treat for viewers. He was the one who handled the Cinematography part in 'Amen' movie. Bgm was really superb and songs also falls under fresh category. In short, movie has a power-packed technical side.

In the performance side, Asif Ali played the role of Alex and Sunnywayne played the role of Akbar Ali. They both get into the skin of their characters. Female lead roles are played by Swati Reddy and Janani Iyer. Swati Reddy was promising in her role. Janani Iyer was not upto the mark but has shown an improvement when comparing with her recent flick '7th Day'. Other cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Jojo, Jijoy, Nishanth Sagar etc. played their roles in a convincing manner.

Overall, I enjoyed the journey with Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal. This is a visual entertainer. You can also enjoy the movie if you go with less expectation.
