If reports are to be believed, a popular producer KT
Kunjumohan has revealed in his recent interview that Rajini
is likely to join Shankar after KS Ravikumar's Lingaa and
the filmmaker expressed his happiness over Rajinikanth's
decision of doing more films.
“I'm excited over Rajini's new get-up in Lingaa and he
looks like how he was seen in Moondru Mugam. I heard
Rajini will be joining with his favorite director Shankar for a
new film after Lingaa.”, he said.
Kunjumohan who had produced many big budget films
such as Gentleman, Kadhalan and Ratchagan throughout
his career recently revealed that he has lost Superstar
Rajinikanth's friendship because of an interview.
“At a point in Rajini's career, Superstar declared that he
will be doing one film for three years and I strongly
objected it being a fan and friend of him. I asked him to
reconsider his decision in that interview, as Rajini's
decision of doing one film in two years is wrong. But Rajini
wrongly understood my words and hence we never spoke
since then", Kunjumohan concluded.

Rajini-Shankar combo after 'Lingaa'

Producer KT.Kunjumon who has produced many super hit
films in the 1990's including Shankar's debut flick
'Gentleman' and the director's second film 'Kadhalan' has
recently written in a column that Superstar Rajinikanth and
Shankar will be pairing up for the third time.
Producer predicts
Claiming himself as a friend and fan of Rajinikanth,
Kunjumon has revealed that an interview had cost him the
friendship of the Superstar. At one point of time, Superstar
had revealed in an interview that he has decided to act in
only one film every three years. Kunjumon, while speaking
to a magazine had mentioned that Rajini's aforesaid
decision was wrong. Though he told it as a well-wisher,
Rajini had misunderstood the same and stopped talking
with him.
Kunjumon has also expressed happiness for Rajini's
decision to start working for 'Lingaa' even before the
release of 'Kochadiiyaan'. He has also said that the looks
of the star for the K.S.Ravikumar directorial has made him
look like how he was seen in 'Moondru Mugam' the 1982
super hit flick.
Kunjumon had also hinted that as per sources known to
him, Rajini will be acting in a film directed by Shankar after
finishing 'Lingaa'.

Rajinikanth is currently shooting with K.S Ravikumar for
Lingaa , starring Sonakshi Sinha and Anuskha Shetty. The
film recently wrapped up its first schedule and is moving in
a brisk pace. Sources say that this film will be ready for a
