How Anjali made a sure shot entertainer!!

Anjali Menon is someone who has pulled off some sensible and lovely movies in the past.The 10 minute "Happy journey" is a much bolder presentation of the new generation than many celebrated new gen movies filled with sexually explicit dialogues and stuff. Manjadikkuru is so cute and heartwarming a movie and she has beautifully conveyed the innocence of children and complexities which differentiate them from the elders.And we all know what Ustad Hotel is.Now,she is out with a much bigger star cast and canvas and she has delivered big time.

The best thing about the movie is that it manages to fulfill the expectations of the majority of the audience without compromising on sensibility and quality.The whole team led by Anjali,Anwar and Samir has to be given credit for the happiness it brings to our eyes,ears and hearts. A few of Gopi Sundar's songs are not up to the mark but still doesn't affect the mood of the movie,thanks to the visuals.And personally,I like movies with bigger duration as and so that didn't matter.

Now,coming to the most striking feature of this movie-its cast!!.Every character has its own identity and casting is perfect. Nivin continues his good show and he is the funnies of the lot(has to admit he went a bit over the top at times).Dulquer looks stunning and proves that he has everything in him to become a big STAR(Have to wait for some more time to judge the actor).Parvathy is a treat to watch as RJ Sarah and is an actor to watch out for.Nazriya and Isha look good and does what is required for the character.The Senior actors support the young lot well and Pratap Pothen amazes with his subtle expressions.Above them all,we have the classy Fahadh Fazil who pulls off yet another brilliant performance.One can't simply take his eyes off this guy who plays the strongest of all the characters in the movie-Das.

And yes,Malayalam Cinema has a bright future.Bangalore Days is not a path breaker in any way but showcases the talent of the young guns who can do it in the future.Do watch it-you will be back with a very positive mind!!! And Anjali,waiting for your next movie....
