Jayasurya bags yet another with Lal Bahadur Shasthri

Actor Jayasurya's career trajectory is proof enough to show that choosing the right script can reap success. The actor is now all set to take on the garb of a naïve villager, who wants to complete a mission in his life. Named Lal Bahadur Shasthri, the movie will see Jayasurya, Nedumudi Venu and Aju Varghese in the title characters of Lal, Bahadur and Shasthri respectively .
Speaking about the film, the actor says, “It will be a fun thriller and I will play the character of an innocent villager.“ The heroine for the film hasn't been finalised yet.
However, the actor shares that among his upcoming outings, Lal Bahadur Shasthri is most special to him. “I won't say mine will be a never-before avatar. But the story has a string of unique elements that make it special in more ways than one. I hear two to three stories on a daily basis.

But some stories leave a mark in my memory and the upcoming movie is one such.“ The story, helmed and scripted by animator turned-director Rejishh Midhila, pans through the lives of the three strangers. But at some point of time, the trio meet and unite to complete a mission. However Rejishh says the movie has a `down to earth' plot. “My debut film has a very simple theme which revolves around the lives of some characters. In fact, it is more of a fun entertainer than a thriller. And definitely, the viewers will be able to identify with the characters because athere will be one such character in o almost every village,“ says the director.
