Biopics have become call of the day for Indian movies They not only give honor to the legends but are also being appreciated and enjoyed by the audience. There have been many biopics made recently on various personalities that have ignited curiosity in the audience. Controversies play a vital role in biopic which can advantageously create a hype.

The upcoming Biopics are on Savithri, NTR, Pullela Gopichand and now, late CM of united AP YSR. Though the idea of YSR biopic was made long ago, the two Telugu states disruption and political chaos has procrastinated it for a while.

The director Mahi Raghav, who made ?Anando Brahma? is going to helm YSR biopic and he?s currently seeking permission from Jagan and his family members. The official announcement will be made soon.

According to the sources, Malayalam actor, Mammootty will be playing the role of YSR in the biopic. It?s a high-budget film and it may hit the screens before 2019 AP Assembly elections. Impeccable timing, isn?t it?
