Anil Radhakrishnan Menon Strikes Gold,Again!!

North 24 Katham was a simple,hearty movie which gifted a proficient director,Anil Radhakrishnan Menon.Sapthamsree Thaskara too is not an exception & narrates a simple,but well-written story with good support from the technical & acting departments.

Running just above 2 hrs,Sapthamsree Thaskara manages to keep the momentum going right from the opening credits down to the end.There aren't any major hiccups as far as the narration is considered & good element of humor sprinkled right through the narration makes the movie a really warm experience for all the sections of the audience including families.The first half moves in a brisk pace,but the second half has some lag in between which luckily doesnt make much harm to the flow of the narration.

Cinematography by Jayesh Nair & cuts by Manoj Kannoth were good.The soundness of the technical side of the movie provides a neat look to the overall proceedings.

Good performances & casting is a major highlight to be noted & everyone in the cast got good screen presence & did their job well.There are good number of sequences which are aimed at the fans of both Prithviraj & Asif Ali which makes this a good recommendation for their diehard fans too,eventhough this isn't a mass masala entertainer.

Overall,Sapthamsree Thaskara is a really good choice to chill out for 2 hrs which assure some laughs & necessary thrills,worth the money we pay for.

*Prithviraj stamps that he's the best when it comes to chosing good films.Yet another good performance from him.
*Asif Ali stole the show whenever he appeared on screen.The movie can boast of his best introduction sequence till date.
*Neeraj Madhav,Chemban Vinod & Sudheer Karamana were hilarious.Excellent performances from them.
*Reenu Mathews,Sanusha,Salam Bukhari & Nedumudi Venu were good.
*Lijo Jos Pelliseri did his part really well & proved that he's a good actor part from being a talented director.

Verdict::Sapthamsree Thaskara is a simple & interesting heist movie which can cater to every section of the audience.Really good performances from the whole cast,well written screenplay & good narration makes this an intelligent choice this festival season.Anil Radhakrishnan Menon is here to stay!! Go for it!
