First and foremost, the movie is not for commercial movie lovers. So anyone who wish for entertainment, please never go near the theatre premises.

Now on to the movie

Njan is aimed at serious movie lovers, who have patience to sit through the movie's ups and downs without much trouble.

On the same aspect, Njan is a winner from ranjith. Ranjith has executed the script quite well by recreating the old time scenarios. Be it the costumes, the sets, the language, songs or bgm, everything blends perfectly to the theme.

And about performances.. Without a second doubt, dulquer's best performance in his career. Anumol got a character with some resemblence to the one she had portrayed in Chayilyam and had done her part well. Other cast including renji panicker, jyothikrishna, saiju kurup, suresh krishna, hareesh peradi, muthumani etc have done complete justice to their roles.

To the negative side, 2nd half ws a bit tedious. The length could have been trimmed.

On the whole, Njan is a good package of art which demands patience from the viewer's side. Serious movie lovers, take their route to theatres playing this movie. Others, take a deviation.
