Ormayundo Ee Mugham Review - will not stay with you

Saw the movie today. after reading some positive reviews, went with somewhat good expectations but did not satisfy me up to it. The story is of Nithya played by namitha who after an accident start losing her memory after 24 hours, and Gowtham played by Vineeth Sreenivasan who is struggling to run a company with the help of his mom. He also has memory issues and tend to forget things easily. Vineeth and namitha meets up in a coffeee shop over a book and the story moves with incidents of that day and how vineeth falls in love with her. But next day, she doesnot remember him and he realises the truth that her memory only lasts 24 hours. Rest of the story moves around how vineeth wins back her love and how his family accepts her. The movie has indeed a reasonably good first half but falters in the second half.

Positives:
Despite not a strong script, the direction was good.
Cinematography and art work was good which made a good watch.
Aju varghese good in his usual side kick role.
Supporting characters were okay.

Negatives:
Lack of chemistry between vineeth and namitha
vineeth was not the apt choice for the role. nivin pauly would have been the apt choice. vineeth tries hard but falters here and there.
as it was a rom-com , was expecting more comedies but not much was there.

It was malayalam cinema effort to make a yashraj- karan johar type cool urban movie with some wedding sequences and all but it somehow doesnot quite meet the expectations.

after the movie got over, not so positive response from audience.

Overall a decent watch but this movie wont stay with you. rating: 2.5/5
