Kalidas Jayaram to debut in a Tamil film

Kalidas, the son of Malayalam actor Jayaram, shot to fame when he mimicked Ajith, Suriya and Vijay at an awards function recently.The video of his mimicry went viral and Jayaram toldrediff.comthat “from then on, most of the calls that came to me enquired about my acting plans.”Now, it has been announced that Kalidas will be acting in Balaji Tharaneetharan’s forthcoming film,Oru Pakka Kathai.Balaji is the director of the Tamil hitNaduvile Konjam Pakkathe Kanom.The announcement was made by superstar Kamal Haasan.Kalidas has proved his brilliance as a child artiste in the 2003 Malayalam filmEnte Veedu Appoontemforwhich he won a National Award.
