Biju Menon, Asif Ali to team up again in VKP’s next

After teaming up in Vellimoonga, Pakida and the upcoming Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Biju Menon and Asif Ali will once again share screen space for VK Prakash's upcoming comic entertainer.
"It's of a different genre compared to Anuraga Karikkin Vellam," says Biju Menon. "The movie is about a Malayali guy and a Dubai sheikh, and what happens when the sheikh comes to Kerala."
The actor will join the sets of the VKP movie in February after he's done filming for Ranjith's Leela, which will kick off in January. Director VK Prakash tells us that his film will have friendship as the main theme. Scribe YV Rajesh, who had collaborated with the filmmaker in Gulumaal, Three Kings and Silence, will script the movie, which is tentatively titled Shake Hand.
VK Prakash, who has directed experimental films such as Trivandrum Lodge and Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, says, "The upcoming film is a complete fun ride. I wanted to do something conventional this time and this will be a family entertainer."
The filmmaker also has two Anoop Menon scripts lined up for next year — Munthirithoppile Athithikal and the Trivandrum Lodge sequel. "Both the projects are in the planning stages," he concludes.
