Watched it second show at Kollam Dhanya……Decent crowd including families……

The film delves into the hitherto unheralded lives of Firemen who selflessly put their lives even for some household chores and remain in the background without any appreciation or admiration….Big hurray for Deepu Karunakaran for making a film on this subject, which has not been touched even in Indian Cinema till now..

The film deals with an eventful day in a fireman’s life told in a straightforward way without any gimmicks and unwanted diversions…….Effective dialogues and performances also helps the movie….Deepu has done a gud job keeping the audience engaged throughout the movie and dishing out a pretty engaging thriller…

On performance side, Mammootty ‘s screen presence and dialogue delivery are the highlights, along with that killer smile….Refreshing to see the actor side of Unni Mukundan, who handled the emotional outburst scene really well……Nyla Usha was also competent as the Police Commissioner, with an aggressive ‘body language’…..

There may be technical flaws, which are pardonable in such a low-profile movie…But this small and noble film has heart and brain at the right place…….Well done Deepu.....
