Deepu Karunakaran direction okke aayadhu kondu valliya interest undaayilla kaanaan. Pinne +ve reviews kandadhu kondu 2nd show-cku kayari. Film starts of with some nice moments of Fireman and their job. Something truly not dealt within our movies. And comes a simple but good intro of Mam. Man, Smart Fireman... Yet another transformation of this man into character. Looks real smart also. The film then goes on with some incidents and sentimental issues of SalimKumar... Salimkumar-inte acting chila idangalil oru kallu kadi aayi... Padam kai vittu pokumo ennu pedicha samayathu accident happened and the whole mood of film changed. It switched gear to a thriller... Still aa accident scenes okke kurachu koodi nannaakaamaayirunnu... Ennaalum it is neatly done.. I okke kandu kazhinju idhokke kaanumbol swabhaavikaam aayum anganeyokke thonnum... Still very neatly done considering the budget limitations we have... Accident and how to plan and avoid further catastrophe forms the rest of the 1st half.. A good 1st half throwing some good lights to the life of Firemen....


2nd half continues to thrill us and overall is much above the first half... 2nd half goes through different twists and turns but at the same time ensures a smooth flow of the proceedings... We really feel the uncertainties, worries, pains the firemen and the officials go thru.. We also really feel the pain of the people around that locality... Anyway an awesome first half with a good climax...


Summary - One of the decent thrillers we have seen recently. And perhaps the only movie which shows some true respect to our local heroes - Firemen.


Positives
Mammootty - Awesome looks, body language, dialogue rendering etc etc... Add one more variety of role to his kitty. I do not think he has played the role of fireman before. Has to truly respect the passion he has to play different roles still at this age. That is what we call passion for the job he does.. A big salute for that...
Script, Dialogues - All are good
Direction - Decent


Negatives
Performance from Salim Kumar was not that good...
Some graphics looked amateurish but still good...

Vaalkashanam - Mammootty ellaam thikanja actor aakaanjadhu bhaagyam.. Allenkil ingane pudhiya variety roles onnum cheyaan pattillaayirunnallo.... Already ellaam thikanju poyadhu kondu pudhiyadhu onnum try cheyaan pattaatha avastha aayi poyaane.....
