It was earlier reported that director AR.Murugadoss will be directing a hindi flick with Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role and the film has started its shooting yesterday in Mumbai.The latest news about the film we hear is that,the film has been titled as ‘Akira’ and it is still a working title and it may change in the future process of the project.People tend to connect the title of the film with late legendary Japanese director Akira Kurosawa. The meaning of Akira is Japanese is said to be bright, intelligent or clear, which indirectly portrays the role of Sonakshi Sinha in the film,as we assume. The camera of the film will be handled up by R.D.Rajasekar.

Given the female oriented theme of the film, it looks like Sonakshi¡¯s playing the title role here. The film went on floorsyesterday and a working picture with the clap board was made public. Akira would be the first project to bring Sonakshi and her father Shatrughan Sinha together on screen as he happens to make a brief appearance in the film. The film is expected to release by the end of this year and will have Anurag Kashyap play the villain.
