"A Decent One Time Watch - Nothing More Nothing Less"

"Deceiving Is An Art And Its Inherent In Each One Of Us"! - Proclaims Roopesh Peethambaran's second directorial 'You Too Brutus',a typical new-gen 'watch and forget' flick that fall into the category of 'Paisa-Vasool'cinema without much to take away once you leave the cinema halls.

An enjoyable collection of interesting sequences placed inside a wafer-thin plot wth humor serving as the batter for narration,You Too Brutus somehow manages to keep the audience engaged till the end,offering a decent fun ride of 101 minutes.Eventhough the storyline takes a backseat here,I wont call it a no-brainer as logic isn't questioned much unlike many other flicks of the same genre and instead the events look genuine as they unveil as strips of fun thorugh the narration.This one is likely to bring Roopesh the much needed boxoffice success after his first try,'Theevram',ofcourse a decent movie,failed to attain any audience support during its release.

On the negative side,eventhough entertaining comic sequences and dialogs are there in a good number somehow the package never crosses the average barrier and keeps the audience yelling for more as the end credits starts to roll.The climax portion wasn't smooth compared to the rest of the story and the overall affair lacks completion that one would expect it to have.

Coming to the performances,Asif Ali did his part really well eventhough I do feel his character deserved more screen presence than received.Tovino Thomas as 'Tovino' was the suprise package of the lot and stole the show whenever he apperared on screen.This one will certainly be a break for the talented actor who has earlier done noteworthy roles in movies like ABCD & Koothara.The rest of the casting too was spot on with Honey Rose,Sreenivasan,Ena Saha,Anu Mohan etc producing good performances.

Music by Roby Abraham and Cinematography by Swaroop Philip were good.Abhinav Sundar's cuts were smooth and enhanced the pace of the movie,giving it a trimmed look.

Overall,You Too Brutus is a typical new-gen flick with ample number of interesting sequnces to call it a decent one time watch for the youth in particular.
