Now Madhupal is getting back with yet another film; based on the infamous Sundariyamma murder.
The film is based on a article came in Pachakuthira magazine; written by Jeevan Job Thomas.
Though the casting is not yet completed; reports says that Jayasurya will do the role of convict in the film.
In real life, Sundariyamma; who lives in fish market alone; found dead on 2012 July. As police arrested one convict and present before court; he was released when court found that the evidence are made up by the police department; and ordered to handover an amout of one lakh from the investigating officers.

Jayasurya plays a convict in Madhupal's film
Jayasurya is one of the actors who is keen in doing exceptional roles. He will be seen in a distinctive role in the untitled film of actor-director Madhupal, who won accolades for his film Ozhimuri.
The actor will play an orphan and also a criminal case convict in the movie. The untitled film is based on the Sundari Amma murder case. The film treads on a path laden with uncertainties and slowly the murder mystery unfolds.
Though the film is a crime thriller, it would be an entirely different film. The main
location of the film will be Kozhikode. Jeevan Job pens screenplay for the film. Other casts of the film have not been decided.
66-year-old Sundari Amma, who used to make a living by selling idlis in Kozhikode, was found dead on July 21 in 2012. Though an orphan named Jayesh alias Jabbar in the case was arrested in connection with the case, the court had acquitted him last year.
First two films of Madhupal was critically acclaimed. His first film Thalappavu was based on the life of naxal Varghese and police constable P Ramachandran Pillai.

Actor-turned-director Madhupal, who won critical acclaim for his outing, Ozhimuri, is all set to helm a movie based on a real life incident. Buzz is that the director is planning to take a movie on Sundari amma murder that made headlines recently. Sundari Amma, 66, who used to sell idlis to hotels, in Kozhikode was found murdered at her residence on July 21, 2012.
Meanwhile, Madhupal is known for dealing with socially relevant themes in his films. His directorial debut,Thalappavu, was based on the story of Naxal Varghese and Police Constable P Ramachandran Pillai.
