Bhaskar the Rascal Review- A disappointing venture

Initially after watching the trailer, i had low hope but positive reviews made me watch this flick. Expectations were kept in check for a director who is on a downward trend in his career. and the movie proved it once again.

The story is full of cliches. The first half was okay to an extent in spite of loud comedies, some unwanted sidekicks and all. But the entry of the villian was like the nail in the coffin. Entammo.. second half.. was miserable.. oru underworld background koduthu movie totally faltered.

Few positives:
lead actors.. ( but was this role good enough for nayans to make a comeback to malayalam.. it could have been pull off by any other actress)
child actors
colourfullness

Negatives:
inconsistent screenplay
second half.. pathetic
isha talwar.. what was the role all about
villian.. such a pathetic villian after a long time in malayalam
all sidekicks
kure underworld characters.. oru wheelchair villian, oru villathi.. entino ento
lack of genuine comedies

It is painful to see a director who has given such memorable hits and comedies struggling to stay afloat.. may be he needs a dose of LAL , which can happen in KING LIAR. please dont disappoint again..

verdict: vacation alle.. may end up as average- above average affair.
