It seems that Sidique has learned from his mistakes or L&G, where he tried to tell a simple feel good story with minimum of drama and more shockingly, without genuine humour!......In Bhaskar, he chose to work with a feel good family stuff, rehashing the once-successful Hit Formula of "Mammootty-Kutty and Petty", and has tried to incorporate all popular ingradients giving weightage to humour and action!....let's see how they worked out?

Feel Good Family Stuff
The basic plot revolves around two classmates, (mother less boy and a fatherless girl,) trying to make their parents unite sothat they can live as a whole, happy family.....This thread gives the director ample scope for exploiting family emotions, and ensures BO success!

The Mammootty,The Family Man
Families in Kerala love to watch Mammootty in family oriented roles....The super success of his family flicks in 80s & 90s testify this fact!...This actor has kept away from doing such roles frequently in the past decade or so, maybe because he is one who hates to be type casted....One major success factor of this movie is Mammmooty, coming back as a Lovable family man!.....

Characterisation.....Spot on!
Combining the immortal characters in Kottayam Kunjachan and Pappayude Swantham Appose, Sidique has moulded the character of Bhaskar as Lovable Rascal.. Mammootty as Rascal is a joy to watch on Screen and impresses us with his powerful screen presences and excellent comic timing!......Though action scenes lacked the punch, the energy level from the actor was good!....Sidique proves once again he is the best when it comes to presenting Mammootty in a mass entertainer!.....

The Kids Segment
Has been One of the essential component of Mammootty family hits of early1980s.....It's no different now!. ....After Mammootty, this is a huge factor of the movie that make you fall in love with the film....Sanoop and his friend does exactly what baby shalini did in many pot boilers!....

The Impotance of Humour
A Sidique film without humor is like cake without sugar and invariably result in dampner like L&G at Box Office!.....L&G was an eye opener and the veteran hit maker has opened his eyes!.....for he has ensured regular laughts throughout the film!......
Mammootty after a Longwood time, regains his comic touch and is entertaining till end....It's true that there's no rib tickling humour in the film!.....The humour segment managed by comedy trio of shajon-harisree-pashanam hits and misses......still, no denying the fact that the movie has feel good comedy under current!...

Half Baked Script
The main draw back of the script is that the story virtually ends in first half!. ...As a result, The first half is some what racy!....but the pace drops in second half of the movie, giving moments of boredom and disinterestedness....Yes, second half is quite ordinary with unnecessary and unconvincing underworld episodes!. ....Ever since "Friends", Sidique seems to be not getting things right towards the end!...Nevertheless, it's not as bad as The latter half of "Chinatown'....

"Beautiful" Making
Making of the Movie should be termed Excellent to say the least!......Sidique has paid minute attention tow every detail.....whether its shots, music, choreography, BGM, costumes...Everything splendid.....The effort put by the film maker to make the film technically perfect is very evident in each frame....The visuals on screen is colourful and richer....The music Dept is also very impressive with peppy songs, nicely picturised and BGM being very effective in creating right ambience according to the mood of the scene!...Deepak Dev, the music director has done a decent job.........Theres a beauty to the making side!.....Overall, This movie has rich Production value!

Verdict : Pot Boiler
Sidique is Back with a potential Mega Hit, which has been eluding the director for over 15 years and the long wait for a Biggie for our Mega Star is finally over...

Therefore, from commercial stand point, BTR is a Big winner, from artistic point of view, an average stuff ...
