Kumbasaaram is an engaging cinematic experience in all means.The director has treated the movie with right amount of emotions,thrills and twists.The movie has no dull moments and hence entertains the viewers.The perfomance of Jayettan as Alby is top-notch and again proves to be an actor with substance..Honey rose also delivered a fine perfomance.The child artist who appeared as jayasurya's son also delivered a good perfomance.Other actors have played their parts peefectly.

First half started slowly and had a nice bulid-up towards the main plot.The interval block was nice providing a share of excitement to the viewers.Second half was nice and matched the exceptations that had during the interval block.The suspense was good eventhough it was predictable at last.But the climax was superb and had a feel-good finish.On the negative side,the character of Tini tom was not at all needed and those scenes were amatuerish.

Technically,the film has superb visuals and fine editing.Music and bgm was also good .Direction was also good with good screenplay and dialogues.

Overall,Kumbasaaram is an engaging family thriller !
