PLOT.

The story is about 3 persons. Ajay (Asif Ali), a cadet in National Defense Academy who is suffering to cope with rules and regulations in the academy and quits the academy. Venukuttan Mash (Nedumudi Venu), a common man who decided to fight against some systems in the society after a particular incident in his life and moves towards court for that. Prem Prakash portraits the role of an advocate who represent the Venukuttan Mash before the court and also he is also the father of Ajay. The film is about the fights of venukuttan mash and his advocates about the system and the representatives of the system, naturally ‘Big Fishes’. The story also narrates the growing relationship with father and son, who are not in good terms before it.

PERFORMANCE.

Asif Ali looks good as a cadet in NDA and as responsible son. He has nothing to do exceptionally and portraits the role with ease. This is surely not his career best, but a good role in his career. Nedumudi Venu has a good role and veteran actor does it with ease. Star of this film is Prem Prakash who did his career best role and wonders with his exceptional performance. He did the role of physically sick but mentally strong and determined advocate and father. His each and every mannerism looks very good and he proves his caliber. Sudeer Karamana has a role of Judge and the actor with his tough look and dialog presentation looks very powerful and apt in the role. Malavika Mohanan pairs with Asif Ali and just for name sake. Supporting actors includes Lena, Saiju Kuruppu, Tisca Chopra, Sankar Ramakrishnan, Sanusha santhosh, Asokan, Mukundan, Prakash Bare etc. All did their part with ease.

TECHNICAL.

VKP simply does his part and the Ad Maker with energetic frames and narration packs the 112 mins length film well. Camera, Editing, BGM, Songs etc feel good. And next is about the big players, Bobby- Sanjay. The story and script writers once again prove their value and this time with another socially relevant story. Story and script is the main strength of movie and it has something to open your eyes and to give some works to brain. They once again prove their social responsibility and commitments and should be appreciated. The dialogs are very good and earn lot of claps in theatre.

SUMMARY

First half gives a build ups to the story, more lengthy and powerful second half narrates the story and a good climax summarizes the film. It has nothing commercially to offer, but have a good message and never test your patience. It has enough speed in execution and strong dialogs in proceedings. Like any VKP Films, it also looks packed in small budget. It is not a classic like ANT or a path breaker like Traffic, But It should be appreciated in Theatre. This is a simple, feel Good, socially relevant film. Go for it. Kudos Bobby- Sanjay.
