Prithviraj, Parvathy reunite in My Story
We had earlier announced that Prithviraj will be doing the lead role in debutante Roshni Dinaker's romantic musical titled My Story. The director has now confirmed that Parvathy, the actor's co-star in the critically and commercially acclaimed film Ennu Ninte Moideen, will be playing the female lead.
"We have been on the lookout for an actress and who better to play Prithviraj's romantic interest than Parvathy after their outing as Moideen and Kanchanamala last year," says the director, adding that she was apt for the role of Tara in the movie.
Prithviraj plays the role of Jay in the movie that has him once again essaying different phases of his character's life. "Traversing through a character's life is not new for me but this film has other elements as well. Parvathy also has a great character," the actor says.
On taking up another romantic movie after Ennu Ninte Moideen and Anarkali, Prithviraj says, "The story was born after merging two different ideas that scriptwriter Shanker Ramakrishnan and I had. I really liked what Shanker has written and it's more than just a love story."
The team recently finished their recce in Portugal. Roshni says, "We have finalised some amazing shooting locations and some of the spots have never been shown in an Indian film."
My Story also has several Bollywood technicians as part of the film including Bajirao Mastani fame sound designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara choreographers Bosco and Caesar.
The movie is scheduled to go on floors by October first week after Prithviraj completes filming for Ezra and Tiyaan, and Parvathy wraps up shooting for Mahesh Narayanan's directorial.
