Default Sultan aka Salman Khan all set to shoot in China for the first time!

Sultan includes a sequence thatll recreate the 2010 Asian Games held in China

This will be a first for Salman Khan. His next big release, Sultan, will be shot in China. This will be for the sequences in the film that would recreate the 2010 Asian Games held in Guangzhou, China.

Our source confirms, This happens in March next year. Since Salman is playing a wrestler in the film, it is also a given that he would be competing at the highest levels internationally. A portion of the film needs him to be participating in the 2010 Asian Games. To recreate the sequences, the Sultan team would be canning a number of scenes in China.

While the outdoor shoot would be shot in China, the indoors of the Asian Games could be recreated in Delhi itself. It is not yet decided if Salman would be required for the outdoor shoot of China as well. This would be confirmed in due course, our source adds, Salmans films are usually quite connected to India. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Jai Ho, Dabangg 2 each of these has been a desi affair and hence, didnt necessitate any travel for Salman. He did travel extensively though for Kick and Ek Tha Tiger, since the subjects demanded it. Now, since Sultan, too, has a portion set in China, it wont be surprising if Salman boards that flight as well.

The entire creative and technical team of Sultan has a task in hand as they need to recreate not just 2010 Asian Games but also 2010 Commonwealth Games that were held in India, an insider reveals.

This makes it one of the most ambitious sports flicks for Yash Raj Films after Shah Rukh Khans Chak De! India. With as many as two global events waiting to be recreated for the big screen, the pre-production of the Salman Khan-starrer is in the final stages

Default Sultan: Randeep Hooda to play Salman Khan's wrestling coach? Buzz has it that Salman

Taking a cue from his close friend Aamir Khan, actor Salman Khan is also learning the art of perfection. The 49-year-old actor has put on a few pounds, got his head shaved off and grown a handlebar moustache to get into his character for Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film Sultan. Salman, who plays a wrestler in the film, has already begun shooting for the film but the director was still on a lookout for an actor who could step into the shoes of the wrestling coach for his film. And it seems the wait is over for Zafar as he has roped in Randeep Hooda to play the part.

According to a report published in DNA, Salman recommended Randeep's name for the role as he thinks that the 39-year-old actor fits the bill. A source was quoted as telling the daily, "Director Ali Abbas Zafar was searching for someone to play Salman's wrestling coach. The role needed someone tall with a good physique and persona. It's a meaty role. Salman felt that Randeep fit the bill, so he recommended his name. The team then approached Randeep and he agreed to come on board.

Randeep, who is currently shooting for Omung Kumar's biopic on Sarabjit Singh, has lost almost 20 kgs for the role. Once the actor wraps up Sarabjit, he will need to bulk up for Sultan and also take wrestling lessons.

The source further informed the daily that Salman fondness for Randeep has made the latter bag the role in the film. "Salman is fond of Randeep as he is known to be blunt and has quirky way of talking. Randeep in turn has always found it very inspiring to work with and loves him like an elder brother," the source added. In fact, Randeep also came to promote his last release Main Aur Charles on reality show Bigg Boss Nau.

Salman will play the role of Sultan Ali Khan, a 40-year-old wrestler from Haryana in his upcoming film. Salman has already started training in wrestling and mixed martial arts with international fight coordinator Larnell Stovall for Sultan.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Salman Khan's Sultan is expected to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Raees on Eid 2016.

Salman Khan Vs Shah Rukh Khan: Clash Between Sultan And Raees May Be Prevented

For all those who are expecting a big Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan clash in 2016 might have to breathe a sad sigh. The two superstars of the Bollywood industry Shah Rukh and Salman are coming up with their ambitious projects ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ respectively in 2016. Reports making rounds suggested that both the films might release on the same date causing a big box office hurdle and clash. But seems like, there is a change in plan.

Speculations making rounds suggest that there might be no clash between SRK and Salman with their films ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’. The two much in limelight films were expected to hit the screens on Eid 2016, but now speculations say that both the films will not share a common release date.

The two films ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ are already creating rounds with the idea of clashing on the box office next year, but Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan seem to be having a change of mind there. Reports now suggest that the release dates of the two films will be reworked and will be decided in a while.

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ will see the King Khan in the character of a bootlegger; the first look has already generated loads of enthusiasm amongst the masses. Coming to Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’, the film is much in news as Salman has already started shooting for the same moreover, the superstar has also achieved a unique wrestler body type for the movie.

Currently, both the actors are on good terms with each other and the same is evident with their messages on their social networking accounts. Sultan vs Raees: No clash between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the much-talked about clash of the Khans on Eid next year might be averted. It's not the first time that a Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is clashing with another big banner film. SRK's Dilwale will also see a box office battle with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. The much-hyped clash between the Khans depends on how Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale affect each other's business at the box office when they release on December 18.

"It all depends on how these films fare at the box office, and the situation might then change. Then, there is a possibility that Shah Rukh and Salman will sit together and mutually decide and one of them might shift the release date. When there are huge stars involved, it is they who take the call about most of the important decisions of their films, not the producers," a senior trade expert was quoted by Pinkvilla as saying.

Now, both the stars are on good terms, so sitting down and discussing won't be a problem. Also, for Shah Rukh, the opposite party is Yash Raj (the producers of Sultan), with whom he shares very good relations, so negotiation is possible. This, however, is not the case with Bajirao Mastani, which involves Bhansali and Eros. Here, it is more of an ego clash," added the trade expert.

Raees's producer Ritesh Sidhwani had also said that the filmmakers will attempt a discussion over the so-called clash. He said, "Once both the films are done, we will sit and talk. Several films are announced, but then they (release dates) are moved too."

Amid speculations about the clash, SRK and Salman are back to their friendship-flaunting mode. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen promoting his upcoming film Dilwale on Bigg Boss 9
, which is hosted by Salman Khan. They were last seen together on the screen eight years ago, in the title track of Om Shanti Om.
