Salman's 'Sultan' and Shah Rukh's 'Raees' may not clash
There are chances that the much-talked about clash of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's Eid release may not happen at all. According to a report on Pinkvilla, trade pundits have maintained that everything will depend on the box-office report of Shah Rukh's Dilwale and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani that will release during the Christmas week, on December 18. Apart from this, it will also depend on the box-office reports of Shah Rukh's next, Fan, which is scheduled to release in April next year. The report goes on to say that after considering the fate of these films, there are chances that Salman and Shah Rukh may sit together to decide upon the release dates of Sultan and Raees, so as to avert a box-office clash.

Mumbai: If Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan decide to lock Eid 2016 for their next releases – ‘Sultan’ and ‘Raees’ respectively, then Bollywood will see two of Bollywood’s biggest titans clashing at the Box Office.
According to the report, the Box Office performances of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ will decide the future course of action. Incidentally, these two big budget multi-starrer films are releasing together on December 18.

After ‘Dilwale’, SRK will have another film of his for release in April. Titled ‘Fan’, the film revolves around the life of the biggest fan of Aryan Khanna (SRK) – Gaurav (also played by SRK).
So prior to the release of ‘Raees’ that marks the debut of Pakistani starlet Mahira Khan, Shah Rukh has two films in his kitty – ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Fan’.
Post the release of these two films, trade experts feel, SRK and Salman may have a chat to decide when to release their respective films.
