Kanal - My Review!!

I was not having much expectations in the movie, still after watching the movie I felt disappointed!
The film is having a plain and lagging first half with out anything special and much more slow and lagging second half with a very normal climax. Even the tail end part was lagging :(
The film never offers the needed thrill or punch which a so called thriller must deliver.

The first half was not much interesting with some totally unwanted scenes and ended with a nice interval punch.
Second half was same with some good scenes and normal climax.

The film is having a interesting story plot, but the script writer failed to copy it to paper and the director failed to show the magic in screen and above all the editor failed to use his scissor in majority of scenes and the 2 hour 38 minutes film became a slow one. If the editor was conscious he could have cut down the film to 2 hour or 2 hour 10-15 minutes film and it may result for the better speed film.

Performance wise lalettan was top class as usual. Pullide kannile aa thilakkam pala scenilum vrithi ayi use cheytitund. He must do a full fledged negative role.
Anoop Menon was good. Rest of the cast was also ok.

BGM was bad and songs were equally bad. Cinematography was good and editor was sleeping!

Verdict - Thriller which doesn't thrills
