Ottum naadakeeyatha kalarthaatha valare real aayi avatharippicha rangangalil prekshakarodu ithreyere samvadikkaan oru actor-director combinationu kazhiyumennu innuvare arivillayirunnu.

Theni eeshwar aadya pakuthiyil pakarthiya visualsinte bhangi maathram mathi ee cinema ennennum orthuvekkaan. Cinema aavashyappedunna pace nilanirthikkondu thanne prekshakare pidichiruthunnathil Yuvan Shankar Rajayude panku cheruthalla.

Paranjathilumere undu parayaan. Pakshe athokke ente swantham aanu. Raminte vaakkukalil paranjaal 'Parayunnathode avayude bhangi pokum" (athaanu ithil vaikaarika nimishangale RAM kaikaryam cheythirikkunna reethiyum). Ente manassu niracha, chinthakalil niranja, ente swanthamennu thonnunna oru cinemayaanu enikku Peranbu.

Yatra : An Emotional Tribute , Yet another Mammootty Magic

The director had clearly stated what type of a movie he intend to make. He stayed true to his words. The film explains how a leader experienced the pain of common man through a long Padayatra. The resons for his much loved welfare schemes are the events of Yatra Movie.

An emotional tribute to YSR.

The movie depends on Mammootty's ability to portray a charismatic real life hero. He effectively portrayed YSR, is an understatement. Even at the end when many footages of YSR is shown, we won't feel that it is different from the movie. All creidts to Mammotty and Mahi V Raghav.

The cinematography is top notch. BGM is apt. 2 songs are excellent..while the others are okay.

The movie is not over the top, not too political (in fact Yatra's YSR fight more with high command than with the opposition party). Eventhough many believe it is for political gain, the movie mainly aims at reminding us why YSR is loved. Even if its aimed at political gain, I would say it is a smart move to make the movie in such fashion.

Slight lag at one sub plot is the only negative I could find.

This Emotional Tribute is an engaging movie experience. It is safe in the hands of the great actor and a young talented director.
