Awards nerathe prakyapichathu nannayi. With how much of a popularity contest it has seemingly been turned into, no way they would have given Best Actor to Bachan if he is implicated in the Panama Papers.

Whether its Thaniyavarthanam or Minnaminungu....in my opinion both are much above Nayagan... I personally don't like Kamal' s method acting...its extremely predictable...but his comic timing is excellent

Agreed totally. But, how many of those roles got recognition in national level ? Post 2000, North indian lobby is using all their powers, to ignore South Indian cinema. If people like Ramesh Sippy continues to be in Jury, Bachchan will end up getting minimum 7 awards. And, Kamal will be denied again by this kind of Jury. Bachchan is nowhere near Kamal when it comes to getting to the skin of the character. Thante trademark aaya French beard oru role nu vend polum upekshikaan thayaraakatha Bachchan evide ?
