വൻ വിജയങ്ങൾ അല്ലെങ്കിലും ആദ്യ രണ്ട് സിനിമകൾ കൊണ്ട് മലയാളസിനിമാ ലോകത്ത് തന്റേതായ വ്യക്തിമുദ്ര പതിപ്പിച്ച സംവിധായകനാണ് സമീർ താഹിർ. അതിനു അടിവരയിടുന്ന ക്രിയേറ്റിവിറ്റിയാണ് കലി എന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മൂന്നാം വരവ്. പടത്തിന്റെ തീം inspiration പോയ വർഷത്തെ ഇതിഹാസമായ പ്രേമത്തിലെ കലിപ്പ് song ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. പെട്ടന്ന് ദേക്ഷ്യം വരുന്ന കഥാപാത്രമായി ദുൽഖറും അവനെ control ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവളായി സായ് പല്ലവിയും നന്നായി. വിനായകൻ, ചെമ്പൻ, സൗബിൻ ഒക്കെ മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ച വച്ചു.

First half was a fun ride with lot of lighter moments, thanks to Saubin Sharhir. The scenes in the bank where DQ tried hard to control his anger at the silly customers was entertaining to the core. First half ended with an exciting chase and the movie shifted to a thriller mode in the second hour. Editing of the final scene was done after the release of Maheshinte prathikaram, for sure.. കാണുമ്പോൾ മനസ്സിലാവും. ദുൽഖരിന്റെ ചില "മാസ്സ്" മിന്നലാട്ടങ്ങൾ ആവേശം ജനിപ്പിക്കും…and wait for an ultimate mass from him...it will bring the house down..

And who is that lady in the bank who tried to seduce him? സിനിമയിലെ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത കഥാപാത്രം..that much “appeal”!

സായി പല്ലവി അഭിനയം നന്നായി എങ്കിലും തീരെ deglamorous ആയിപ്പോയി...i would hv loved that "neelakaasam" heroin in this role..

No one, even Nivin, came close to DQ in the popularity he enjoys now. And its all made out of hard work and sincere efforts. Lineage doesn’t matter much now..
The film may not be huge hit, but will bring handsome profits..For me this is the best from DQ after BD and UH…and please don’t listen any negative reviews here..enjoy the thrill in the nearest centres..
