Sarkar series has nevertheless managed to find a cult following among the fans of serious political thrillers and Ram Gopal Verma in particular,thanks to a hard-hitting performance by Amitabh Bacchan and ssubstantial support from the technical crew of the first two films in the series.Sarkar 3 is angrier than ever,but carries a threadbare storyline that lacks depth and novelty in comparison with other two films in the series.

The narrative style is stereotypical of RGV films with prolonged conversations,outlandish camera angles and abundance of eccentric characters.The screenplay written by P.Jaya Kumar wasn't vivacious as the earlier two films and ended on a half note.

Amitabh Bacchan gave a towering performance as title character "Sarkar Subash Nagare" which was a saving grace for the major part of the presentation.Jackie Shroff as the main villian was totally underwhelming,mouthing ludicrous dialogues and resorting to unintentionally funny expressions towards the climax.

Overall Sarkar 3 is a passable political drama with a weak storyline that's recommended only for the diehard fans of Ram Gopal Varma!
