The latest buzz in M’town is that the super star is joining the ace director again for a film.

Most best film lists in Malayalam will feature at least two movies from the Sibi Malayil - Mohanlal team. Bharatham, His Highness Abdulla, Kireedom, Dasharadham, Kamaladalam and Chengol are some of the super hits from the team. The latest buzz in M’town is that the super star is joining the ace director again for a film. If sources are to be believed, the film will go on floors by the end of this year. “Hemanth Kumar, who has earlier written the screenplay for Madhav Ramdasan-directed Apothecary, will be the screenwriter for this film. This yet to be titled film will be produced by Finecut Entertainments, led by Santhosh Kottayi, Preeta and Bijou Antony. It will be their second production venture in Malayalam after Joshiy’s Laila O Laila,” says the source adding that other details can’t be divulged now as the shooting date is yet to be confirmed. It was in 2007 that Sibi Malayil wielded the megaphone for a Mohanlal film for last time and that was Flash. Shine Tom Chacko-starrer Saighal Padukayanu was the directer’s latest outing.

മാധവ് രാംദാസ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്*ത അപ്പോത്തിക്കിരിയുടെ തിരക്കഥാകൃത്ത് ഹേമന്ദ് കുമാറാണ് പുതിയ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തിരക്കഥയും തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നത്. ഇതുവരെ പേരിടാത്ത ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നത് സന്തോഷ് കോട്ടായി, പ്രീത, ബിജോ ആന്റണി എന്നിവരുടെ ഫൈൻ കട്ട് എന്റർടെയ്ൻമെന്റ്സാണ്. ജോഷിയുടെ ലൈല ഒ ലൈല എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് ശേഷമുള്ള അവരുടെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ചിത്രമാണിത്. ചിത്രീകരണം ആരംഭിക്കാനുള്ള തീയതി ഇതുവരെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതിനാൽ കൂടുതൽ വിവരങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെടുത്താൻ സിനിമയോട് അടുത്ത വൃത്തങ്ങൾ തയ്യാറായില്ല.
2007ൽ ഫ്ലാഷ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് സിബി മലയിലും ലാലും അവസാനമായി ഒന്നിച്ചത്. ഷൈൻ ടോം ചാക്കോ നായകനായ സൈഗാൾ പാടുകയാണ് സിബി മലയിലിന്റെ അവസാനം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രം.
