Plot...Malaysia mafia gangs ne kanichu kondu padam thudagunu...10mins ulil super star intro from the Jail....Simply the best best scene in the movie...Nala njerippan Intro minimalistic yet same old goosebump stuff from Thaliavar... ... Then movie slowly slips in to flashback and reveals the story revenge plot and all....
Interval twist was great ...there are some lagging potion during the flashback scenes.. ...still with that interval punch ...it turns out to be an above average fare......second half is mixed with family emotions and drama ,,,,,,,we will witness the acting side of the superstar..and he delivers it wonderfully.... ..and the movie rides through the climax and the ending scene might disappoint ...but overall PA Ranjith has done a good job..he has given us a variety superstar movie that we haven't seen much nor expected...The movie has good points ....the problems suffered by immigrant Indians (Tamils) at a foreign country....their problems...how they are being trapped...racial issues etc....casting was perfect....Super star single handedly carries the movie with his majestic screen presence and charisma even at this age ...many might be complaining about the less amount of mass fight scenes...but i think his health conditions are not allowing to go for over the top fights...and the idea of the director to make the movie more realistic could have effected that...The character of Dhanshika as Kabalis daughter is a pure surprise package...she has done a commendable job....and the director have given her the deserving screen presence and a meaty role...that some what amazing ...a women getting a role like this in a commercial tamil movie is pretty hard to find...A REFRESHING CHANGE ...great job done here by the director .......Radhika apte also done a good job...but most of the time she has been showcased as a pregnant women ....that could have been avoided ..the screenplay has been stretched out and that effected the movie if that was not the case it could have done wonders...So overall KABALI is a Refreshing Superstar Movie ...that worked from the directors point of view more than the stardome of Rajinikanth...PA Ranjith deserves huge credit for sticking in to his basics rather than using the stardom of Thalaivar.... .....Movie is gonna be a superhit in Tamil Nadu as it has conveyed the Tamilan feelings brilliantly ...

A Surprise package ...she was daring and dashing and had a good role to play ....

Finally The courage shown by PA Ranjith to go his own way of making that too in a Superstar Movie..Even though he lost in btw at some parts ..that deserves some credit

Negatives:

Couldn't have made ending scenes this much realistic...at least its a Super Star movie

Screenplay could have been more tight

Songs are a let down
