After their blockbuster film Theri, Ilayathalapathy Vijay and director Atlee are coming together for another project. Now, the makers of the film have approached actor Kajal Aggarwal to play the female lead.
Vijay is currently shooting for his upcoming actioner Bhairavaa, which is directed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan fame.
Earlier, reports suggested that Vijay is teaming up with director Atlee for Vijay 61, which will have the screenplay written by Vijayendra Prasad of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali.

Going by the reports, this will be Kajal's third association with Vijay after Thuppakki and Jilla.
Meanwhile, 80 per cent of Bhairava is complete. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Satish, Aparna Vinod and YG Mahendran in the lead roles.
Bankrolled by Vijaya Productions, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan and expected to hit the screens by the end of the year.

Nayanthara in talks for Vijay's next
Earlier we had reported that Vijay’s film with Atlee might feature Kajal Aggarwal as Ilayathalapathy’s lady love.
The new development suggests that Nayanthara is apparently in talks to play the female lead. It needs to be noted that Nayanthara has earlier worked with Vijay in Villu (2009). She also did a guest appearance in Sivakasi too. One of these two top heroines is likely to be finalized to play the female protagonist in this film which would supposedly be produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
