This movie has been touted as a come back of Johny Antony who had given big hits before. Also the initial day reviews suggested a feel good and simple family movie. The movie lives up to the expectations set by these reviews and the marketing of the movie so far.


The movie is all about the love and alcoholic life of Joppan. His lost chidhood love, his new love interests, his alcoholism and his friend gang forms the crux of the movie. The USP of this movie is the performance of Mam in the role of Joppan. The ease at which he has tranformed into the character and his comedy timing is an awesome watch in the movie. The counter dialogues evokes good smile in the viewers. Whenever movie takes a serious turn immediately a counter comes which lightens the situation. Then his transformation to Achayan, whether it is the Kottayam Slang, Looks and mannerisms has been proven multiple times and does not require any more mention.


All in all it is a feel good family movie which will bring smiles on the faces of viewers and will let viewers leave the cinema hall with a smile in their faces. It does not invoke any loud laughter in the theatre since the comedy is mostly situational light comedies. But it is successful in bringing smiles on the viewers thanks to the Mam and his friend gang.

Mammootty - His comedy, slight sentiments all are a treat to watch and he carries the movie on his shoulders throughout.
Mamta - Another neat performance from her
The whole friend gang - Has supported the lead cast very well


Negative
There is no loud laughter comedies in the movie which might not satisfy some of the comedy movie fans.
