In Ernakulam, people in suburban regions prefer PVR, Vanitha, M cinemas if their plan is only movie. Well it logically makes sense to go to nearest centre of the same movie is playing there.
If people have any other budget shopping needs and movie, then they go to Kavitha/ Sarita/Padma etc. Or the movie is exclusively to city centre. The rates of single screen and multiplex also not much difference. Or the hardcore fans go to these center.

So the aim of these 'legacy' theatre should be to provide better services and facilities without much rates than multiplex in order to bring crowds there.

Let's see what's shenoys have planned it.
