9 screens. That's more than i expected. Also disappointed that no IMAX screen.
These many screens means loses to other theatre business but good from consumer perspective. They should have taken over Gold souk mall also because of the strategic location.

Just my random thought. Having a multiplex in a big city has its own advantages. But Ernakulam has two leading multiplex at prominent locations already.
What I think is needed is instead of so many screens located at one place, how about a twin theatre complex setup spread over different locations where there is potential.
Eg: take model like m cinemas, k cinemas in Ernakulam district, G tracks in Trivandrum, which are distant from main city but cater to local people and sometimes other people come to the place. Mainly avoid time delay in traveling to theatre and see the movie at nearest location to your place.

Already there right ? Varapuzha, Fort Kochi, Njarakkal, Thripunithura, Edappally, Aluva all have releasing theatres right ? We need one in Kakkanad area. That will come up probably in next few years...
