Film distributors association is taking us backwards , all other states and industry are trying to release the movies in maximum theaters. They all know the challenges associated with the piracy and all the collection is coming in the first two weeks. With too many restrictions, Film distributors are killing Malayalam movie industry.

TVM KRIPAyil 4K projectors install cheythu in both the screens
The restriction is only for other language movies. Your statement "all other states and industry are trying to release the movies in maximum theaters" is applicable to their own language movies. Since last 6-7 years Karnataka has restrictions in other-language releases. Tamilnadu and Telugu industries never had such issues bcos they dominate southern film industry. 125 theaters for an other language movie is more than enough for viewers and business. Only Tamil movie distributors and other-language-actors' fans should feel issue with this. Kerala theaters and film associations should primarily stand for Malayalam movies.
