I feel movies should be compared solely based on the genres and not public reviews - only then we can correctly judge the impact an actor brings in - Jomon vs Jacob - a perfect example for same genre with similar story thread (i have provided details in an older thread so not repeating again). if one movie got better reviews & collections, the actor clearly gets some part of the credit - in the sense that the audience were satisfied/happy at the convincing performance delivered. Same way for the movie that got not so good reviews some part of the blame goes to the actor too.

Charlies vs Premam - was comparing best entertainers both gave ..if this is wrong tell me the best romantic entertainer given by DQ as of now.

Now if you are saying Charlie didn't have enough entertaining elemnts like Premam - part of blame lies with DQ - could be any of reasons - may be he is uncomfortable doing such roles OR the current directors don't hve confidence in giving him such roles because he never gave one till now...OR may be as his fans say - he only wants to do experimental films...
