The Angry Birds

The Angry Birds is a pretty decent entertainer.The superb humor quotient saves the movie to a large extent,the plot is wafer-thin,but the humor content & the smartly written characters makes this an easy one time watch.Voice acting was excellent.Sean Penn rendering Terence's voice was highly impressive.

Clay Kaytis - Fergal Raily,the director duo did a good job.The movie basically being an adaptation from a game has nothing much of a content in it,but the makers have tried their level best to sum up this as a watchable flick.

Overall,The Angry Birds is Watchable !

The Secret Life of Pets

The Secret Life of Pets is a highly entertaining animation comedy.It may be that routine animation stuff,but it never fails to get you engaged throughout.The fast paced narration along with some smartly written one-liners makes this one a really good.The voice acting stands out,superbly done.Kevin Hart rendering the voice of snowball was just awesome,the characterisation of snowball is smart & extremely funny.

Chris Renaud was impressive with his direction.His making & the way he treated a simple plot was the main strength of this film.It never gets you bored,with some really hilarious moments & a bundle of smart one-liners,this one offers you a good watch.

Overall,The Secret Life of Pets is a Good Watch !

Clue

Clue looks more of a stage drama rather than a movie.Touted as a mystery drama,this one isn't engaging enough to put that label.Every aspect of the movie seems unreal,may it be the artificial performances or the dramatic staging for this kind of genre.The performance of the lead cast is nothing worth mentioning.

Jonnathan Lynn as the director could have made this better.The basic plot had interesting elements,but the below par execution made it haywire.The only interesting part of the movie is its climax,the only portion which brings some sort of interest.

Overall,Clue is Below Average !

War Dogs

War Dogs is a superbly crafted comedy drama.The film which throws light up on many issues has been treated with much needed brilliance,kudos to Todd Philips for making a sensible & entertaining cinema.The movie has some amazing performances to look out for,smartly acted.Miles Teller & Jonah Hill did an excellent job portraying their characters to perfection,both of them were too good with their act.Ana as the female lead was good with her performance.Bradley Cooper in brief cameo made his presence felt.

Todd Philips is a brilliant film maker & this one is surely in his best works till date.His making is top-notch,the way he handled a serious theme by adding enough humor & other entertaining factors were impressive,the underlying political satire was also superb.The dialogues were powerful & that brilliant quotes that comes in between the sequences were smart.

Overall,War Dogs is a Superb Cinema

Saw tropic thunder. .movie is genuinely hilarious. . i thought it must be a wannabe movie and downey jr must be having a small part hence skipped. was surprised to see annan as the hero. .almost every line of his is a gem.
Well made movie. .plenty of funny scenes.
Recommended for rdj fans especially.

THE BFG: Surprisingly for a Spielberg movie, it didn't do well in the BO. i loved it. superb fx. superb voice-overs.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is an entertaining cinema.The movie stands in its well written comedies & witty one-liners.Zachary Gordon was at ease playing the title role with perfection,he was apt & extremely good with his performance.Supporting cast was fine,Chole Grace in a small role was too good.

Thor Freundenthal as the director was able to pull of an engaging cinema from a much seen plot,although the climax portions was a bit dull,the movie looked good on the whole.Personally,i felt Rodrick rules a bit more engaging than this.Waiting to watch the 3rd installment in this franchise - Dog Days.

Overall,Diary of a Wimpy Kid is Watchable !
